Hello everyone! It’s Polly Karen here bringing you the monthly overview of the 7 new challenges for November.
As a reminder, based on our percentage system, you can earn three levels of coupons for the store just by participating in our monthly challenges. In addition to the coupon, if you complete all 7 challenges within the month of November, you will be entered in a drawing to win a one month guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The discounts available are as follows: 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off. Now let’s take a look at the new challenges:
1. Random Challenge – Renee (renee82) is hosting this month’s Random Challenge and has a super fun idea to rewind back to last month’s challenges and find one of those challenges you didn’t get a chance to complete, or one that you really loved and do it again. So go back to October’s Challenges and pick one of those to do. Renee chose to do the close-up photo challenge and made this cute page:
2. Product Challenge – Julie (mrs2a50) is hosting November’s Product Challenge and has picked all things Kraft to play with this month. You just have to use some type of kraft element or paper on your page. Here is a layout Julie created using a kraft background:
3. Inspiration Challenge – Julie is also hosting the inspiration challenge for this month and posted about a cool site called Design Seeds. She wants you to use this site to inspire your own layout. She used this as her inspiration and then created the following gorgeous layout:
4. Fill It Up Challenge – Heather (HeatherB) is hosting the Fill It Up challenge for November. Heather is the queen of filling up a page and making it look effortless. The challenge for you is to fill up at least 90% of your own layout. Here’s a perfect example layout by Heather:
5. Scraplift Challenge – This month’s Scraplift Challenge is hosted by Ashley (ashleywb) and she has picked the fabulous Rae (bcgal00)’s gallery to scraplift from. Simply take a took in Rae’s gallery and find a layout that inspires you and create your own layout based on one of her pages. Here is a layout of Rae’s that inspired Ashley, followed by the layout Ashley created:
6. One Word Challenge – The One Word Challenge for November is hosted by Amanda (MandaKay). Amanda has chosen the word “breathtaking” as the word to inspire you this month. She was you to scrap about something that takes your breath away, either a moment or a photo. Here is a layout Amanda created with a breathtaking photo of a Michigan sunset:
7. BYOC Challenge - Last, but certainly not least is the BYOC Challenge. November’s BYOC Challenge will be posted to the forum on Friday, November 6th when all the new BYOC Products for November will be released in the store. This challenge, hosted by Amanda (gracielou), is to use 90% of the products on your page from the current BYOC collection and from at least 3 designers.

There you have your at-a-glance look at all of the new challenges for November. Now you can go create your own layouts inspired by these challenges and then post them to the appropriate galleries as listed above.
